Author Description <b>Frederick Orlin Tremaine</b> (1899–1956) was an American science fiction magazine editor, most notably of the influential <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/series/162369-astounding-analog" rel="nofollow noopener"> <i>Astounding Stories</i> </a>. He edited a number of other magazines, headed several publishing companies, and sporadically wrote fiction.
