Author Description Dr. Margery Palmer McCulloch (1935 - 2019) was Research Fellow in Scottish Literature at the University of Glasgow. She wrote widely on twentieth-century Scottish literature, including critical studies of <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/175660.Neil_M__Gunn" title="Neil M. Gunn" rel="nofollow noopener">Neil M. Gunn</a> and <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/13007.Edwin_Muir" title="Edwin Muir" rel="nofollow noopener">Edwin Muir</a>. She was an elected member of Council of the Association for Scottish Literary Studies and served as Convener of the Association's Publications Board.<br /><br />McCulloch’s books include <i>Modernism and Nationalism</i> (2004), <i>Scottish Modernism and its Contexts</i> (2009), and the co-edited <i>Edinburgh Companion to Hugh MacDiarmid</i> and <i>Scottish and International Modernisms</i> (both 2011). She was co-editor of <i>Scottish Literary Review</i> from 2005-2013.
